Challenges in the workshop
Different systems. Different pressures. Tailgates, tipper circuits, PTOs and suspension systems can require different measurement ranges.
Trucks earn nothing parked. Slow fault finding keeps equipment off the road and workshop bays occupied.
Pressure changes can be easy to miss. Digital resolution makes it easier to monitor pressure drop, leak-down and changing system pressure.
The solution
One kit for the whole yard
One gauge spans the ranges the whole fleet needs, connecting straight to the hose with every test coupling in the case. Digital resolution shows leak-down and pump wear in real time: the faults that keep trucks coming back.
Calibration certificate and serial traceability are included, giving workshops documented measurement records for service reports, preventative maintenance and repeat testing. The result is more consistent pressure testing across the fleet, from one service to the next.

Best fit for transport workshops
DM80 M service kit · 0–400 or 0–700 bar
The mid tier, ranged for vehicle hydraulics: 4 buttons, backlit display, certificate + serial traceability. Kit carries hose, direct adaptor, test couplings, thread adaptors and the foam-inlay case that lives on the workshop wall.
Applications
Everything that rolls through the bay
Tailgate & tipper hydraulics
Lift and tip circuit pressures against the body builder’s spec.
PTO & auxiliary systems
Verify pump output where the body equipment runs off it.
Leak-down checks
Digital resolution catches the slow drop behind repeat call-backs.
Fleet service schedules
Repeatable calibrated readings for every service record.
Options at a glance
Low · Mid · High: with or without the kit
Specifications from Leitenberger datasheets rev. 08/2026. Welded stainless-steel measuring cell (no gasket in the pressure path) and made in Germany: all tiers. 100 million pressure cycles minimum (DM80 ML and M).

Heavy vehicle diagnostics
One gauge for a mixed fleet
How a single ranged instrument replaces the drawer of dials a mixed truck fleet accumulates.
Diagnosing hydraulic leak-down
Reading slow pressure decay on tailgates and tippers: the fault a needle mid-swing can’t show.
Will it fit truck test points?

Certified readings in service records
Why a calibration certificate matters when a fleet customer questions the work.
